As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a sharp, experienced Estimator (or Builder/Carpenter with quoting experience) to join our office-based team and help us lay the groundwork for renovation success.

About the Role

This is a strategic and commercially important role. You’ll be responsible for accurately scoping and quoting renovation projects, ensuring our builds start with clarity and profitability from day one.

Whether you come from a formal estimating background or have experience as a builder/carpenter quoting your own jobs, you’ll understand what makes a good renovation tick—and how to translate project briefs into detailed, commercially sound estimates.

Reporting to the Managing Director and collaborating closely with our Business Development Manager, you’ll also help refine our quoting systems and frameworks while building strong, lasting relationships with suppliers, trades, and internal teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Attending internal briefings and client consultations to scope renovation works
• Creating detailed and accurate estimates using our internal pricing models
• Reviewing and refining project scopes and specifications for feasibility
• Improving quoting frameworks, pricing templates, and processes
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Participating in handover meetings with the Operations Team
• Tracking job costs and helping improve estimating accuracy over time
• Keeping estimates well-documented and version-controlled

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years’ experience in renovation estimating or as a Builder/Carpenter quoting your own work
• Strong knowledge of Australian residential building practices, materials, and codes
• A knack for producing quotes that balance client value with project profitability
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Tech confidence—especially in quoting tools, Excel, and construction job software
• Familiarity with Jack App or similar platforms is a bonus
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle for occasional site visits
